The Anti-Boring Content Challenge is all about showing how easily content ideas can be transformed into engaging Interactive Content for every marketing channel. It’s your chance to explore Dot.vu’s features, experiment with creativity, and refine your skills while building content that truly stands out. Along the way, you’ll not only discover what’s possible, you’ll also get the chance to win.

Timeline

  • Challenge runs October 1 – October 31, 2025.
  • If you joined with a 14-day free trial, you’ll have 14 days from signup to complete and submit your project.

How It Works — 4 Simple Steps

The challenge is designed to be straightforward. Follow these four steps to take your idea from concept to a live, shareable project.

Using the Editor

The editor is where you’ll bring your project to life. The Template Editor provides a step-by-step setup, while Studio offers full creative control.

Using the Editor for Interactive Presentation

Here’s how you can set up an Interactive Presentation. Each step highlights the tools and options available to design, customize, and publish your work.

1. Getting Started

  • Enter the editor after creating your Interactive Presentation.
  • Choose how you want to start: Blank, Upload PDF, or Upload Image.

2. Editor Basics

  • Save & Preview – save changes and preview live.
  • Publish – make your presentation go live with a shareable link or embed code.
  • Settings Menu – control project info, SEO, privacy, and social previews.
  • Help Menu – quick access to support resources.

3. Working with Layouts & Slides

  • Add rows, columns, or containers from the Layout panel.
  • Manage slides: add, duplicate, or delete.
  • Use Presentation Settings for transitions, animations, and flow control.

4. Adding Content

  • Templates & Components – shapes, text, images, icons, interactive blocks.
  • Building Blocks – videos, charts, forms, games, engagement features.
  • Text Styles – headings, subheadings, paragraphs.
  • Images & Icons – upload your own or use the built-in library.
  • Products – add catalogs for ecommerce projects.

5. Other Tools

  • Rules – set conditions for content.
  • Data & Formulas – collect inputs and add logic.
  • Actions & Add-ons – connect events and features.
  • Notes & KPIs – track and measure progress.

6. Preview & Testing

  • Use Preview to test interactions, navigation, and animations.

7. Go Live & Share

Click Publish to make your presentation live.

Using the Editor for Flipbook

If you’ve chosen to create an Interactive Flipbook, this section is for you. You’ll learn how to set layouts, add content, test features, and publish the final version.

1. Getting Started

  • Enter the Flipbook editor after creating your project.
  • Choose how you want to start: Blank, Upload PDF, or Upload Image.
  • Select a size for your Flipbook (A4, Letter, Tabloid, Flyer, Booklet, or Presentation).

2. Editor Basics

  • Save & Preview – save changes and preview live.
  • Publish – make your Flipbook go live with a shareable link or embed code.
  • Settings Menu – control project info, SEO, privacy, and social previews.
  • Help Menu – quick access to support resources.

3. Working with Layouts & Pages

Submitting Your Project

When your project is complete, the last step is submission. This ensures your entry is officially entered into the challenge and considered for prizes. Select the project you’ve created and hit submit.

Anti-Boring Content Challenge — Official Rules

The official rules outline eligibility, deadlines, requirements, and prizes. Review this section carefully so your entry meets all guidelines.

1. Organizer

The challenge is organized by Dot.vu (“Organizer”).

2. Eligibility

  • Open worldwide, except where prohibited by law.
  • Participants must be 18 years or older, or the age of majority in their country.
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family of the Organizer may participate but are not eligible to win, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Challenge Period

  • Opens: October 1, 2025, 12:00 AM UTC
  • Closes: October 31, 2025, 11:59 PM UTC
  • Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

  1. Open the Anti-Boring Content Challenge popup and click Start Now.
  2. Choose your path:
  3. Create Flipbook or Presentation
  4. Start with a Template (choose from 300+ options)
  5. Build your project in the Editor.
  6. Go Live so your project is public.
  7. Click Submit to complete your entry.

No purchase necessary. Internet access required.

5. Entry Limits

  • Each participant may submit one project for the challenge.

6. Content Requirements

  • You must own or have rights to all assets used.
  • No use of third-party IP without permission.
  • Content must not be illegal, hateful, harassing, misleading, or adult in nature.
  • Projects must function properly and be viewable on the provided URL.

7. Prizes (Top 5 Winners)

A package prize:

  • 20% OFF the first month of Dot.vu Pro (for new or upgrading accounts; non-transferable; cannot be combined; local taxes/fees may apply).
  • Interactive Content Creator Certificate.
  • Recognition Badge for LinkedIn, résumé, or email signature.
  • Spotlight Feature on Dot.vu channels (Blog, Newsletter, LinkedIn).
  • 1:1 Strategy Session with a Dot.vu expert.

No cash alternative unless required by law. Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.

8. Winner Notification

  • Winners will be notified via the email linked to their Dot.vu account within 14 business days after the challenge ends.
  • If a winner does not respond within 5 business days, an alternate winner may be selected.

9. Rights You Grant

  • You retain ownership of your project.
  • By entering, you grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your entry and your name/brand in galleries, social media posts, and promotional materials, with proper credit.

10. Fair Play

  • No automated, fraudulent, or manipulative activity.
  • The Organizer may disqualify entries that violate these rules or the spirit of the challenge.

11. Privacy

  • Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy.
  • Entry implies consent to be contacted about the challenge.

12. General Conditions

  • The Organizer may modify, suspend, or cancel the challenge if unforeseen circumstances affect its integrity.
  • Void where prohibited.

13. Liability Release

By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer from any claims related to your participation or acceptance of a prize, except where prohibited by law.

14. Governing Law

These rules are governed by the laws of the Organizer’s principal place of business. Any disputes will be resolved in those courts.
